privacy & analytics

What I collect

This site uses PostHog for privacy-friendly analytics. When you accept tracking, the following anonymous data is collected:

• Pages visited and time spent
• Referral source (how you found the site)
• Browser and device type
• Approximate location (city-level, derived from IP address)

What I don't collect

• No personal information (name, email, etc.)
• No cross-site tracking or advertising profiles
• No data sold to third parties, ever
• No cookies if you decline tracking

Your choice

On your first visit you're asked to accept or decline. On desktop that happens in the loading terminal, where you type accept or decline. On a phone it's a banner with two buttons. Your choice is saved locally so you won't be asked again.

On desktop you can change your preference at any time by opening the hidden terminal (Ctrl + `) and typing tracking.

Why I track

Simple: to understand which sections people find useful and improve the site. No ads, no monetization. Just a personal portfolio trying to be better.
